Featuring an award-winning design, the Life Fitness IC7 Indoor Cycle is a pioneer in the indoor cycling world, due largely to its innovative two-stage drivetrain. The drivetrain enables the market’s most accurate (+/-1% deviation) WattRate® Direct Power Meter, 100-level precision magnetic resistance, 1:11 ratio high-speed flywheel and responsive hybrid Poly-V belt technology for a tactile and responsive riding experience. All the rider’s performance metrics are easily visible on the WattRate® TFT computer – a self-powered interface that incorporates a front LED light facing the instructor so they know what intensity everyone is riding at. This Coach By Color® technology brings results-orientated cycling workouts to life, and is a universal method for coaching intensity. The IC7’s Sprint Pro handlebars have been redesigned with drop bars angled out at 10° for more control and stability when in the sprint position, while also offering comfort and strain relief on the arms, back and shoulders when taking longer rides. The IC7’s magnetic resistance system includes a300-degree dial that clicks through 100 increments, displaying the resistance level as 0-100% on the WattRate® TFT Console. Riders can fine tune their position with horizontal and vertical adjustments of the saddle and handlebars, which are gas-assisted for easy use.
